The various games saw enthusiastic participation of 900 students and 100 teachers; the games included kho-kho, kabaddi, 100 mt sprint, long jump, yogasan and shot-put throw. Children are fast learners and these skills must be honed at a young age as they are highly critical to survive in today’s competitive world. The enthusiasm displayed by the children and teachers today only motivates us further to organize such events in future. We would like to thank the students, teachers and the schools for participating in the Sports Day and making the event a huge success.”

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Haresh Patel, Block Resource Centre Coordinator said, “We truly appreciate and thank the CGPL team in organizing the Sports Day for the school students and teachers at Mundra. This is the first time that a Sports event of such a magnitude was organized. The event wouldn’t have been such a huge success without CGPL’s unrelenting support and we look forward to organizing more events for the benefit of the students in the years to come.”
